Hi Judy,
Thanks for putting your travels to Bangka Island and Palembang on the web. I am also going to Bangka Island, with my 2 sisters and brother, to see where our aunt, Jean Ashton, had those POW experiences. She was a nurse in the 13th Australian General Hospital Corps and a close friend of Vivian Bullwinkel.
Could you give me the contact details for your guide/s in Muntok & Palembang? We would appreciate it very much. We are arriving in Muntok on 5th February, and leaving on 10th February this year (three weeks away).

Hi Rose,
You may want to contact Judy directly. I tried to find more information for her but unfortunately, I didn’t get anything that can be of useful.
I wish I were in my hometown and were able to investigate things but I’m far away from Bangka Island.
